What exactly is the opportunity?

Darling Don't Panic are an established wedding planning business in Australia seeking experienced event/wedding or conference professionals who wish to apply their events experience to working with us a wedding planner in their local area.

What does the signup fee cover

The signup fee covers the costs of onboarding and training a new planner. Due to the nature of the digital content released and administration time, this payment is non-refundable.

Can I run my other business in conjunction with Darling Don't Panic?

Yes you can. As long as our wedding enquiries are handled with our processes we don't mind you doing planning or another business on the side. The only issue you might face is when approaching local venues and suppliers, who will you present yourself as - DDP planner or your own business.

What is the difference between a Contractor & Licensee?

Potential wedding planners have the choice to either apply to join us as a Contractor (less investment, 60/40 split per wedding) or Licensee - where there is a bigger investment but you own the business in your area and take 100% of each wedding.

You talk about Public Liability in your Contract, how much is that?

It's best you do your own research about the costs for insurance in your area. There's a huge variance in quotes from our planners due to factors such as location, size of the business, other streams of business (florist) etc so as you're in this application process we recommend obtaining your own quotes based off your own circumstances. You do not need your Insurance until you've confirmed your first wedding.

What is the application process?

Fill out the application form here and tell us all about your experience. Don't forget to mention whether you are most interested in the Contractor or Licensee arrangement. From here, our Head Planner, Kiri will arrange a first interview if we'd like to proceed. There is a 2nd interview and reference checks before you are offered a role.

Do you accept payment plans

Yes we do, we'll happily accept part payment or even setup direct debits if you like, however we can't start you as a Contractor or Licensee until the joining fees are paid in full.

What happens if I wish to leave?

Contractors are able to finish up anytime however we do ask you to finish any weddings you are currently contracted to do.

Licensees are able to sell their branches and this can sometimes be for a profit if they have established relationships and goodwill.
